AN UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE.

Last summer, I went to a fantastic city called Dublín for two weeks. I could go there thanks to a scholarship which I got because of my good marks at high school. I went with about thirty students and three instructors and we had a good time there.

People in Dublin are very interesting, generous and help other people when they need it. In the centre town, we can find Trinity College, a fantastic University with a lot of building and gardens so that students can study. We can also find its fantastic Spire, a metallic monument kwon as "Monument of Light" which measures one hundred and twenty metres. It is considered the highest monument in the world. Finally, on the outskirts of the city, we can visit some lakes which are situated in an untouched place. You can also swim, set a sail and have a picnic there.

If you want to learn more about its history, you can visit its fantastic museums in order to see an historic exhibition and if you want to ride a bike,go to Phoenix Park , an enormous park where you can have the chance to enjoy open spaces away from the crowds and take a lot of photos if you are a keen photographer. In addition, you can do the shopping in many supermarkets which are located in the town centre.

Relating to the gastronomy, we can eat meals like Fradge, a delicious potatoe bread; Brambrack, bread with raisins and we can also eat a beef and Guinness stew. The most impotant alcohol dream is the beer which is called Guinness. It is made in Ireland and it can also have a black colour. If you want to taste it, you can go to Temple Bar, a big area with bars where people can drink Guinness and listen lo live music.

Finally, I think that Dublin is an amazing city for spending your holidays served with your friends, family or classmates. I had a good time last summer and I would like to come back again, so I invite you to spend some days there. You won´t never regret having been in this city.

HAPPINESS.

Happiness is a fantastic feeling which is a synonymous of a divine treasure. Many people think  that there are a lot of kinds of happiness. For example, happiness for being alive, happiness for being rich and having a lot of properties; happiness for being in love; happiness for having a family and friends; happiness for winning the lottery; happiness for getting our dreams, happiness for enjoying all the moments in company and happiness for meeting new people. In my opinion, happiness is a synonymous of  having a family and friends, getting or dreams and doing what we want because I love speding a lot of time with my family and friends. Furthermore, I am also happy reading books, listening to music, travelling all over the world and cooking with my mum, because I like making chocolate cakes. To sum up, people who love beeing with they want and doing what they want, are really happy.

'A full sky of starts' is my favourite song. It is sung by Coldplay, a British pop rock group formed by Chris Martin, Jon Buckland, Guy Berrymand and Will Champion. I can say it is my favourite song because it has beautiful lyrics and it calms me when I am nervous.

INTRODUCTION AND CONCLUSION ABOUT MUSIC.

INTRODUCTION.
Music, which means Muses´ art,  had become very useful nowadays.  There are more and more people who use it as a source of inspiration and a way of relaxation, communication and concentration. Besides, music allows  for expressing feelings and thoughts. On 22th of November, musicians celebrate Saint Celily´s Day playing their instruments.

CONCLUSION.
To sum up, we have to give thanks to music for making happy our sad days and making life easier.

A SPECIAL DAY.

Last Thursday, 13rd of November, was a special day because I turned 18 years old. It was the first birthday I was away from my family and friends but it was so special due the fact that they called me in order to congratulated me. They also dedicated a lot of photos to me and sent me a lot of messages with care. Being eighteen years can has some advantages like we can vote in elections, learn to be more independent, be able to take my own decisions and have our driving license. However, we can find some disadvantages like we can go to prison if we commit a small crime. To sum up, It was a specia day which  I will always remember.

FRIENDS ARE THE FAMILY WE CHOOSE.

I can say that I have the best friends with me.We have shared a lot of  fantastic moments since we were children.They are the most interesting and the nicest people all over the world. We like spending a lot of time together, so, when I go back home at weekends, we always go out. I can also say that they have become very important for me because  they are with me in bad and good times. Besides, they make me laugh when I am sad or overwhelmed and they are able of help me when I need. I hope we are always together. I miss them due to the fact that I am living in Murcia and I only see them at weekends. To sum up, They are very important for me and I love them so much :))

INTERNET

Internet has become very useful since it appeared in 1950. It makes easier communications between people who live far away and allows  for looking for information, studying, listening to music and seeing films without going to the cinema. Finally, we can´t live without it.

MAFALDA

Mafalda is a comic character designed by Quino, an Argentinean humorist who won an award two weeks ago.She is short and she has got black hair and eyes. Besides,he is a little girl who tries to change the dialy situation and critizises a lot of problems like pollution, wars and politics with humour She is also very friendly, so she has got a lot of friends; nice and generous. Finally, she hates soup and she can make us laugh, forgeting our problems.

PRACTICE 1.

 

 

 

 I really like fast food restaurants. When I have time, I usually go to some fast food restaurant like McDonald´s or Burger King with my friends because we can eat the food we like like burger, ice creams and chips without spending a lot of money. We also go there because we don´t have to wait fot a long time due to the fact that they give us the food when we ask for it. However, most people don´t really like it at all because they think that this kind of food can produce obesity , so they prefer going to more expensive restaurants in order to have some healthy food like soup, rice or roast chicken. For this reason, they don´t mind speding a lot of money and waiting for a long time. Fially, I recommend people who don´t like fast food that they ask for a salad when they go to fast food restaurants.

 
 

 

POLLUTION

Pollution is a terrible problema nowadays. We can find water and air pollution. Water pollution is a terrible problem which affects rivers, lakes and seas in our country. There are more and more fishes deaths due to te fact that we throw a lot of rubbish into the water. We can also find air pollution specially in towns because there are a lot of cars and factories which emit pollutant smokes every day and we don´t try to recycle.

Water pollution is a terrible problem which can be solved if we fine people who throw rubbish and we resolve to put more rubbish bins next to seas, lakes and rivers. However, air pollution can be reduced if we foment the use of bicycles.  we advoid fires, we  prevent electricity and organic food consuption and we recycle, reuse and reduce.

In conclusion, we can reduce pollution and take care of our planet if we work hard.

THE ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES OF HAVING A JOB WHILE AT UNIVERSITY

Having a job while at Univesity is a current issue among students who want to study and work at the same time. It has got some adventages and some disadventages.
On the one hand, there are some advantages because you can earn some money in order to pay your enrolment and the material you need. You can also become more independent and learn to provide the money you have earned. In addition, you can meet new people and finally, you can become enough mature in order to make your own decisions without any help.
On the other hand, there are some disadvantages because you haven´t got sufficient time to study and prepare your exams, so you  can also be more nervous and under stress and finally, you can´t spend a lot of time with our friends and family.

 

 

COMPARE / CONTRAST ESSAY ABOUT MESSI AND CRISTIANO.

They are called Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. They are football players who live in Spain. They have got brown hair and eyes. They are also married and they have got one son. Finally, they are generous, nice and hard-working. They always help poor people and they have won a lot of awards. However, Messi is from Argentine and plays in a football team called Barcelona while Cristiano Ronaldo is from Portugal and plays in a fooball team called Real Madrid. Cristiano is taller than Messi and he is also more muscular while Messi is skiller than him. Finally, Messi is also more honest than Cristiano.

MY OPINION ABOUT POLITICS

Politics is a well-known current issue which I hate. There are more and more news about it on TV every day. In Spain there are some political parties like PP, PSOE or IU which try to get the power tellling lies to people who only want to change the economical situation with their votes. When one of them win elections, the rest of the political parties critizise it although it do an excellent labour. Every day, we know that there are more and more people who steal money when they get the power in order to buy luxurious houses while they are people who are dieing in poor countries because they don´t have enough money in order to eating or going to the doctor. For this reason, Spain is known as the country of thieves and I hate this topic.

DESCRIBING SOMEONE

My brother is the best person in the world. He is called Jaime and he is sixteen years old. He lives with my parents in Férez, a little village between Murcia and Albcete.He is tall and he has got brown hair and eyes. He is very funny and he always makes me laugh. He is also friendly, so he has lot of friends and he is hard-workig and generous. Two years ago, he organized a party for my birthday without telling me anything. He made an enormous cake with his friends´help. I was very surprised when I went to the place where he had prepared the party and I gave him  lot of kisses. We had a good time all together and we danced and sang for a long time. For this reason, I can say that he is the best person in the world and I miss him because I am living in Murcia and I only see him when I come back home with my family at weekends.

The best place in the world is London.

In my free time, I like listening to pop music and reading historic books because I can find amazing stories in them and have more knowledges about an historic period.

I love sports, so every weekend, I usually play tennis with my friends and on Tuesdays, I go to run with my cousin Nerea.

I also like going shopping with my friends. We  go to shops called Bershka, Stradivarious and Primark.When I go out with my friends at weekends,we have dinner in a restaurant and then we finish, we go to the disco. We always have a good time all together.

On Saturdays, I like cooking with my mum and we make deliciuos chocolate cakes.

Finally, I love travelling. I have been in Mirepoix, Dublin  and Amsterdam and I would like to travel to Rome and London, so I am learning English and Italian now.

2014, A YEAR WITH CHANGES.

                                               

2014 has become a year of changes for a lot of students because we have to leave our home, family and friends in order to get a dream.In this new period, we are going to meet new people and we are going to start a new life.

 I would like to become an English teacher. When I was a child, I wanted to be a teacher and nowadays, I am studying at university in order to get my dream. I would like to become a fantastic teacher.
